” When the student is ready , the teacher will appear . ”

We have all come across this quote numerous times and with my recent experience at 21 my belief in it has only  gotten stronger . I have not been very regular with my Instagram or blog post recently because I had been quietly  working on something a lot bigger so as to offer you my best . Himalayan Products

When I came across Himalayan Products at an event last month , I immediately made it a point to share their story on the blog so I could provide you with some relevant information regarding cheese. Do you know that processed cheese is not the same as real cheese ? Actually, it cannot be even termed as real food but rather a means to mass produce low quality products at cheap rates. With primary ingredients being vegetable oils, sugar, preservatives, colours, excess sodium etc. , it can not be legally labeled as cheese in most countries but is instead tagged as “cheese food”,”cheese spread” or “cheese product” . Real cheese on the other hand contains calcium , zinc, Vitamin D and Vitamin K2 and is also a source of probiotic which is beneficial for the gut . Peanut Butter contains good fats that help lower cholesterol and help prevent heart disease. They also contain antioxidants and Vitamin E that makes it excellent for the skin. They are a rich source of protein and potassium helping lower the risks of blood pressure and aiding in building muscles and healthy bones.

Dairy free , Vegan , Sugar Free and Gluten Free Nut Milks

One of the most important things I learnt last year was that a healthy mind can reside only in a healthy body. After having put on weight and constantly  battling a weak immune system , I made it a point to make a few lifestyle changes. I was not looking for a massive change overnight or going on a strict diet but more towards seeking a few alternatives that could result in an overall betterment. One of the first steps was to go dairy free and sugar free. I consume milk and sugar only with tea everyday so I switched dairy milk with nut milk and sugar with jaggery or just  avoiding sugar altogether . I have not mastered  self control yet so once in a while I do indulge in dairy and sugar products but avoiding them everyday and making the switch has yielded me some great results.
