Vegan – is a vegetarian who or uses only plant based products . Vegans also do not use anything derived out of animals including fur , leather and even honey .

Gluten Free – consists of food items that are free from grains  like wheat, barley, rye, or hybrids of these grains. Some naturally gluten free products available are rice, corn, millet, sorghum, buckwheat, quinoa and amaranth.

Paleo –  a paleo diet consists of whole unprocessed food . Eggs and meat mostly grass fed and pasteurised ,   seafood caught wild , vegetables,  fruits, nuts, and seeds.

Maca – is a herb from the mustard family. The nutritional value of Maca is high but an overdose can cause side effects. Also,people with THYROID should consult physician before using as it contains  a lot of iodine.

Matcha – Matcha is made from shade-grown tea leaves while the powder is finely ground of specially grown and processed green tea . It has numerous health benefits but it is important that the leaves are grown in areas free of environmental contaminants.

Cacao – cacao can be referred to all products made from cacao beans . These beans are found inside the pods of cacao . After harvesting , fermenting , drying and roasting cacao becomes cocoa. Raw cacao are not roasted and are processed at low temperatures to keep the enzymes and for other health benefits . Cacao contains antioxidants and is a rich source of magnesium and iron .

Quinoa – is a grain crop primarily grown for its seed. Being Gluten free and having many health benefits Quinoa has become extremely popular worldwide.

Refined Sugar Free – may mean the product is free from refining or processing.

Soya Free – means the products or the food items are free from soya

Raw – raw food in general means a diet based on eating uncooked and unprocessed meals. It includes fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds and sometimes unpasteurised milk, eggs and even fish and meat.

Unprocessed – food are not processed , refined or done minimally  before consumption . They include whole food which do not contain added salt, carbohydrates, or fat.

Antioxidants –  are substances that remove cell damaging agents . They help promote healthy cell growth.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids – is an unsaturated fatty acids mostly found in fish and also in nuts , chia , flaxseeds etc . Numerous health benefits are linked to omega 3 fatty acids like beneficial for heart , skin and hair , also women with PCOD problems etc .

Locally sourced –  means the ingredients or the product has been grown in the local nearby regions.

Non – GMO – Genetically modified organism generally means any organism whose genetic material has been modified using genetic engineering technique. For instance if you come across vegetables and fruits that last much longer than they are supposed to , it is likely that they have been genetically modified. The problem is these materials can sometimes find their way into our blood stream causing health hazards.
